MEETUP #1 · MAR 24, 2026 · PAST MEETUP
Inaugural meetup
Kickoff and community social for the new Sioux Falls chapter, with a primer on AWS Organizations.
The group gathered at Startup Sioux Falls (The Depot) to open the chapter: who it is for, how it will meet, and what people want to learn next. Ross Wickman made the case for AWS Organizations — separate accounts, consolidated billing, organizational units, and service control policies — so a mistake in one environment does not take production down with it. The deck closes by asking who might co-lead and which topics should come next.
