MEETUP #2 · JUN 30, 2026 · PAST MEETUP
Amazon Kiro for test/spec driven development
A walkthrough of Amazon Kiro for writing the spec and the tests before the agent writes the code.
Ross Wickman used the June meetup to move from “vibe coding” to a spec-driven workflow in Amazon Kiro: requirements, design, and tasks, with an approval between each step. The deck covers the Kiro IDE and CLI, hooks that can run tests after a task, custom agents, and wiring the Agent Toolkit for AWS, plus a short live-demo runbook. Meetup held a meet-and-greet at 4:30 PM before the 5:00 PM welcome, and left time afterward to share what people were building.
