Community guidelines

Help make this a place where people can ask questions, share work, and learn from one another.

  • Welcome people of different backgrounds, experience levels, and perspectives.
  • Critique ideas and technical choices constructively. Avoid personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or unwanted attention.
  • Give others time to speak. Make room for first-time attendees and questions.
  • Keep talks and discussions relevant to learning. Be transparent about commercial interests and avoid pressuring people into sales conversations.
  • Ask before photographing, recording, or publishing identifiable people and their work.
  • Do not share credentials, account details, customer data, or private conversations.
  • Get the speaker’s permission before distributing slides or recordings.
  • Use lab environments with the account owner’s permission.

For event concerns or unwelcome behavior, email contact@siouxfallsawsuser.group or use the contact form. You can also speak with the organizer at the event. Describe what happened and the help you need; avoid posting private incident details publicly.

For venue access, dietary needs, or participation questions, use that same form before the event so the organizer can confirm what is available.

These guidelines express the expectations for participating in this community. Meetup’s own policies also apply when using Meetup.
